Think i caused any damage?

Okay so i install my subs. And im driving down the road and whenever i stopped i heard a noise from my truck like the box was sliding. I opened my trunk and there my sub is laying in my trunk out of my box. The box i had borrowed had all its holes stripped. So my question is could i have caused any damage playing my sub when it was out of the box? It could have been like that for a couple days.

maybe.....turn it on and listen for scratching or any bad burnt smells. Also check the surround for damage

A couple days and you coulden't tell it was out of the box? I would think if my subs fell out there would be quite a change in sound.

well i thought they were performing shitty. But it was the first time i had them installed. i just thought the subs sucked. how will i know if i damaged them?

no doubt, i would probably slam on the breaks car in the middle of the highway and go back and check as soon as it happened

why? its not my fault the sub fell out. I even had an audio store install them. Its just the box was stripped so i rotated my sub and made new holes. Your not very helpful so why are you here?

yes.......it is your fault. roatating and drilling new holes=massive air leaks=horrible fart cannon

b/c subwoofer dont just fall out of boxes. And holes dont just magically strip themselves

it was my friends box and yes it jus fell out. the screws didnt hold it in. But have you know i did it myself and that sub isnt moving

still.....you should have realized that box was not going to be able to hold together from just looking at it. What did u do by yourself?
