Ring terminal HELP

Hey guys, I have a big problem hooking up the grounds and power wires to my US acoustics usx 2150 amplifier. The ports for the wire is... slim. The screw goes right in the middle of it, which counts just sticking the wire into it (which its too thick anyways) out. Im using 4 gauge power wire, which IMO is the minimum If you are planning out a great system. If anyone here has seen/owned usx 2150's and seen what goes on with them.. I looked for ring terminals at radioshack and pepboys, they had them that accepted 4 gauge but the output is too big. How many watts is your amp???

Im using 4 gauge power wire, which IMO is the minimum If you are planning out a great system.

he said minimum not max. i have 4 gauge runnin my intire sytem about 1500 watts total. no problems.

as for the ring terminals. if you have a power sander/grinder or have acces to one, you can shave the sides down until they fit into the terminals.

Exactly stupid... Why run a wire that you don't need, especially when it doesn't fit in the terminals?

So what? you are running like 450w MAX on that amp?? 8guage will be fine...

These work on some amps where only 8ag was needed.

If you don't find any ring or spade terminals you could just shave the wire down to fit. Just make sure that the + and - strands don't touch.

Put the spade in there and let the force of the screw hold it down
