This might be a dumb question, but I'm sure it will be loud as hell either way.... If the subs are firing directly at each other, won't the SPL from each bank of subs kinda cancel out part of the sound? I would think that the turbulence inside the box would make you loose a few db...?

i wish i could tell you the reason but i cant lol.

i "heard" that subs actually are better when they are facing/angled at each other, it prevents cancellation.

There is cancellation from it, but the way they load like that, it just gets really loud.
