No problem.Very well, thank you.
Finally someone who understands haha. Thanks man. I also hope I dont fall in to that category. Being a computer nerd costs enough as it is (not to mention a familyi'm sure you'll be happy with the setup for know, at least thats the impression i get from youre description of listening tastes. however, just keep in mind that you have a good way to go on upgrading you're box. Whenever you get around to it, then i think you're system will really come to life. But you really do have a very solid system so far that should last you a long time, so long as you don't get addicted like me and buy a new sub every other day //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif haha
And WE dont... Lol smhFinally someone who understands haha. Thanks man. I also hope I dont fall in to that category. Being a computer nerd costs enough as it is (not to mention a family).
It will increase/decrease the amplification and the power consumption when the bass hits. You may notice your lights dimming when it does. With the remote gain control, will that result in a change in power consumption as I turn it up and down or is it a constant power draw?
Well my car's lights dim when I approach 500w power draw. So potentially, it depends on your electrical.I got 2 12" TNT 1244 (American Bass Subs) and a VFL 100.1.
So west, just to clarify, If I were to turn it all the way down then it would be drawing close to zero power, and as I turn it towards max, it will start drawing more power, possibly to the point of lights dimming?
I concur, typically 1k seems to be the breaking point (for many vehicles) to do more electrical upgrades beyond the big 3.you can only go 4 or 1 ohm . , how good your setup is installed and your stock power can supply will play a big part . a volt meter will tell you alot . and a dmm can tell you some also but voltage driving , idle andcar off are all differtnt . usually car reach there limits around 1k watts but all care are differrent maybe you have a stock 160 amp alt and a nice size stock battery . dimming light can only tell you so much.
