Right off the bat, I hope this is the right section to post in, if not then I apologize.

So basically I'm looking at putting a system in my car (obviously), I wanted you guys to look over what I have and offer advice. I'm trying to keep the cost under $1000 so keep that in mind if you want to suggest something other than what I have. What I have is as follows:

(2) 12" Pioneer Premier Pro Series Subs (TS-W3002D4)

(1) Hifonics Brutus D-Class Mono Block (BRZ2400.1D)

(1) Sealed box (2 x 1.25 cu. ft. internal volume)

(1) Kenwood KDC-BT752HD Deck

(1) KnuKonceptz KCA Complete 4 Gauge Amp Installation Kit

It will be put in a stock 1998 Chevy Tahoe, so plenty of space. I did not list the faceplate or harness or anything...Although I know how to install subs/amps I don't really feel like doing it, so I will probably bring it to best buy and have them do it, and but the extra little things there. Right now I am just getting the big stuff bought so I don't overpay in the store.

Well Realistically for the major parts i'm looking at $800, gotta leave room for installation and various small pieces of whatever. Do you still believe there are better alternatives at the same price? Right now my cart is at just under $800. Plus or minus a few bucks isnt a huge deal but I would like to keep it there.

If so, what else might I look in to?

So what makes those better, given that they have lower power output, not to mention I've never heard the name, and they are more expensive.

Do not pay some one to install your gear... Learn to do it...

for a grand on soundsolutionsaudio dot com

jvc kdr530 deck for 100$

cresendo 2000 for 380$

2 sa 12s d2 for 390$

50 foot spool of 0/1 xp flex 120$

and the rest of the stuff on knu is another 100$

a little over your budget but in the end its way more worth it, just build a box yourself to spec have someone on here design it for 5$ use 1 inch mdf and brace it alot i garuntee the sundown/cresendo will be louder than the hifonics/pionner and will last much longer.

I know how to do it, I just find that its not worth the time and effort when I could have someone who is more experienced and better equipped do it. I just got back from Afghanistan and I have some money to play around with. I willing to pay a hundred bucks so I dont have to install it, ive done it a couple times before and its just not worth it to me.

id also pick up a decent size battery up front and deffenitly do big 3 go on youtube and look up how its preatty easy and really important

also i would go ported if done right it will be much louder than sealed. in most cases

And dutchmaster I'm already looking at $1100 with that, and its not including the box or dash faceplate or wiring harness plus its about three times as much wok as I'm looking to put into it. I have a daughter at home so time is not on my side for things like this.

Also, sound quality is just a notch higher on the importance level for me than just how loud it is. If it will still sound good with ported I'm all for it, but its not like I'm doing any sort of competitions or anything you know.

competition grade equipment ,also ab has been around since the 90's very well respected in the competition world.the subs can be rebuilt if blown ,and the amps actually do rated and then some ,you wont be sorry about buying american bass products

The american bass setup will sound great and yeild good output if you have a decent ported box. Im rocking a pair of dx 10s right now and they do ok and the tnt which are basic clones of the dd2500 line sound fantastic and can be used in 4thand order bandpass boxes with great sucess
