Review My Setup (Please)

competition grade equipment ,also ab has been around since the 90's very well respected in the competition world.the subs can be rebuilt if blown ,and the amps actually do rated and then some ,you wont be sorry about buying american bass products
^^ This

As much as I believe all of you and I don't want to sound rude, I feel compelled to stay with my current setup, based on the whole price situation. I think to pay less than $1000, all inclusive and installed, is better than paying $1100 for the major parts, plus everything else, or even if I built it myself, the extra work that would come along with it.

So lets assume I did stay with what I have (not final yet), is there any reason I might want to change my amp for example, to better suit my subs, or get better audio cable as to not bottleneck this setup?

Then why come here and ask for advice?

Like I said I don't want to sound rude and/or like I'm not willing to accept advice, but I'm just not willing to pay that much, I'm not exactly an enthusiast, I just want some solid bump, nothing crazy, but I also don't want to buy all this and then regret the purchase.

One of my good friends bought (1) 12" Pioneer Premier when we were in high school, we installed it in his Grand Prix and it sounded awesome. Don't remember the amp or anything, but assuming these subs aren't worse than whatever the model was that he had gotten a few years ago, I will be happy with it.

I hope that clears things up a little bit. I'm more of a computer nerd so it bothers me when people don't take my advice also, I know what you're saying. Its just I don't enjoy music/audio enough for the price jump involved. As long as its got enough power that I will fear hearing loss from turning it all the way up, and as long as I roll down the street and people turn their heads because they hear a scary sound, I will be satisfied.

You'll regret your list of products long before you regret anything we recommend (which most likely won't happen).

well first of all there is no way those pioneers will hold that much power .they are entry level subs at best ,as a dealer i pay $55 for them new ,hifonics hasn't made a good amp in over 7 years also .but if you like to waste money on cheap built china garbage then go for it .we tried to steer you in the right direction where you wont waste your time and cash ,but you aren' listening ,most of us aren't telling you this just to be talking ,we have been there and done that and now know better . good luck

If you're happy with it. Stick with it man. Especially if you're not trying to go loud. It'll give you more than enough bass that you're looking for. Plus you don't have to lift a finger either! lol

american bass ***** go with the hifonics amp and different subs

my brz2400 dominates that ****** little american bass amp that he linked you.

Don't let him fool you, he has no idea what hes talking about.

actually i do ,your hifonics china crap .yea ok i think you been smokin too much of the dank you advertise in your avatar.your just mad cuz you cant afford good equipment so you end up with a ghetto system.

Alright, one more time to clarify. I am looking for loud, but not break my windows loud, or cause hearing loss from long term exposure. Sound quality is more important to me than raw power, and Including installing plus a couple extra small pieces I will need, I would like everything to be under $1000 ($1100 is doable but id rather not).

From what I'm understanding, I can not get that price with what I was shown with the American bass, and I have not seen ANY other recommendations for any other products. Am I to assume American Bass is the only manufacturer that will suffice? I feel like if the products I buy are as bad as you guys are making them out to be, there should still be a setup I can get that will satisfy my thirst for thump, without going over that $1000 limit.

I understand everyone's frustration, but you guys don't seem to be understanding where I am coming from with all of this, and you are just ignoring my personal requirements that I have set forth and getting mad because I'm not listening to what YOU WANT. Get what I'm saying?

Like I said, I mean in no way to sound ignorant. All im looking for is something to treat myself after spending 7 months in Afghanistan. Subs is something I've always wanted but could never afford, so now I'm getting them, but its just not as important to me as you guys seem to be making it.
