Any idea what the BBE feature does on the 880?

It's like sound enhacemen, nothing like the loudness feature, but I tend to keep it off as it is somewhat artificial enhancement of sound:

5) 880 only had the 15band, CD7100 has Bass, Mid, Treble controls as well as the PEQ. This is a nice touch. 9887 read #4.

I know bringing this back from the dead but it was the only thread that mentioned this.

where are the bass, mid, and treble controls for the CD7100? I've looked in the manual and it says to hit the center button on the rotary knob which i've done but bass, mid, and treble do not come up. i shut off CSII and i then get the option for balance/fade but still no bass, mid, or treble.

where do i go to adjust that? am i doing something wrong?

I reall don't remember, there is a place to set it, I think you probably have to change a certain option that you have set, what are the other options when you hit the center button?

hey no problem man. i appreciate the help.

when i hit the center button with CSII on, i have SVC and NON-F only. when i turn that off, I have SVC, NON-F, Bal/Fade. With the Harmonizer on or off nothing changes.

That might be why, read that manual.. I know it says it in thre somewhere.

ill check it out again but when i read it, it didnt say anything special about changing a certain setting to get those settings to pop up. actually before i installed the amp and was just running my stock speakers off of the headunit, i still didnt have the bass/treble to mess with.

there's gotta be something but i will check the manual again and see if i missed something.
