Reusing factory speaker wiring...

Hahahahhahahhahahaha.
Seriously, Lol. You guys.

If you're using a head units power, I guess stock wiring makes sense... but feeding 50W+ RMS from an actual amp through factory wiring? WTF for? It's not that much more work to run the wire, and who can't afford 50ft of 14ga? I'll pay the extra $25 and put in the extra hour to get that last bit of dynamic range out of my components, which play some 80% of the music anyway.

Cmon guys. Don't build systems/make decisions you'd be embarassed to tell your local car audio shops/installation gurus about.
50W-100W Through your stock 16 or 18ga wire is fine.. You won't notice a difference... Thanks for your 02 but really not that big of a deal

Thats only 6 wires.. Any actual car audio 8wires or the 9wire if they have remote(don't matter tho).. Like the one in pic you posted... What guage is the one in picture?
18 i just googled it to find a pic for reference.

I believe sethphillips on here has some of what you want, but it is 18 ga IIRC

Wow, quite the debate here //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

FWIW, I'm only considering using stock wiring for my front door speakers. The 6x9's in the deck are inches away from the amp. No problem there.

I wouldn't imagine theres much more then 6 feet or so from the deck to the door, plus it's next to impossible to get at, plus my door panels (13 yr old car) are somewhat brittle. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
