Returning old school'er

It's been 20+ years since my first system and that itch has got me again wanting an upgrade. But different path this time, that system back then was purely for loudness (PP amp, Kicker Comps and Alpine hu / eq).

This time its all about overall sq. My current ride is a 2010 Mazdaspeed 3 with the dreadful Blose system. My goals are to keep it stealth looking so atleast for now the factory hu is staying, atleast until I see what CES offers this year.

So not counting the hu, plan to keep everything else under 1,000.

Sub: ID8V3-D4 (I work for a custom acrylic fab company so will probably make an acrylic L port)

I'm leaning on the HAT Imagine's but since they dont come with crossovers I'm unsure on that

dont plan on going active. I'm also fine with just doing a front stage / sub combo for now.

If I just stick with front stage only I could extend the budget on the comps to the clarus line and grab a decent 4 ch amp to run them and the sub. If I decide to go front / rear / sub then I'm unsure on a amp(s) and even more intriging is running a loc from the stock hu. The Pac loc only hase 2 channel out.

The car also has a center channel which I'm up in the air about what to do with. Plan on doing the install myself since I have ocd about other ppl riping my car apart and I'm fairly experienced with wiring.

So inconclusion:

Sub: ID8

Front stage: HAT Imagine / Clarus

Rear: HAT Image / None

Amp(s): Decent sq 4 channel or possible 5 chan. (Must stay under 1,000 rms)

Wiring: KnuKoncepts 4 ga. kit probably

Sound Deadening: Done allready. On a side note the doors in this car are incredible, no holes on the inner skin and completely sealed.
