cant go out and do this cause im in bed now...but i have a massive ported box in my car...if i turn that thing to the side so it wont necessarilly be facing inside the car but will be like facing inward, like towards the middle of my trunk instead of to the back of my seats.......hard to explain but if ya look at my install page its facing the inside of my car if i turn the box to were the back is agains the wall and theport is pointing inward will that affect anything how loud it is...ect..im thinking about doing that so i can put my amp on a sheet of wood also somy box wont slide around...

pointing the box away from the cabin usually yeilds favorable results for most people. Try it with several different songs and see what you think.

I had the speakers facing the rear of my car, then switched it to face the cabin and found no differance. My box is so big that this turned out to be most feasable for me so I can plan out my amp rack.
