Resin the inside of box?

Will applying resin on the inside of the box kill any sound or sound waves? Im going to apply resin on the side to further strengthen the box.

I've heard arguements on this both ways.

My personal experiences' however have given me nothing but positive results. I say go for it

Just try to realize you will lose airspace, whether it's a significant amount or menial is all up to you and the amount of layers you apply

i'm sure it's dependent on each persons individual situation on the gains u would see...chances are it won't be noticable to the ear...just the mic.
