The AQ2200D is probably the most I'd give a pair.

Given they are in the proper box they will do just fine with 1000rms on each on music. Any more then 1100+ the will heat up. Mechanically they can handle a decent amount. I've burped a pair of sdc's off a d9(rougly 2k to each) and they did quite well.

New thread will be started on this... Same car. (4) HDC3 12's in 8.0 cu/ft net tuned to 36hz on an AQ 20k @ 15v. Roughly 3k to each sub. Switching the Stinger batteries with d3100's. Stay tuned!
