Yea def not to bad, 150.7@39hz was our best. Did alot of different testing. He may get a second set of Aeros and tune high to see whats the best possible score we can score for shits and giggles.

looks good my fellow trunk guy, would love to see that trunk car in usaci's trunk class next year. since he is going for daily setup its fine but if you start thinking about competing may i add a suggestion to stripping the trunk an deaden it. leave the trunk bare an test it. i have seen guys gain a full db from just doing that sometimes 2. since its all ready has the gaps sealed up an foamed up hell a 152 would be a nice burp score.

Thanks and yea, trunk does have a good amount of deadening in it as it is and ALOT of expansion foam throughout. Did not try meter without any of the intereior peices installed in the trunk but am interested in doing so if its possible for a slight gain. This is just his daily driver so hes not really looking to change up the car TOO much but there is talk of walling it with 6 sdc's so I'll just have to wait and see if he decides to bite the bullet and tell me to build a wall for him lol.

I just notice the amps were mounted under the back seat cushions, any problems with overheating with them there?

Love this setup BTW, not enought trunk car builds on here lol.

Thanks Tez^ , and yea I was happy to build this one in a trunk lol. As for overheating there are no thermal issues. I cut out enough foam so there was a nice gap between the amps and the foam. Air is able to excape at the sides of the seat also. Amps will get slightly warm after a few full tilt demos.

Allright, UPDATE on this setup. SDC's are coming out and being replaced with HDC3's as well two more 2200d's. Can't do the (6) SDC's as the box design will not work out how I want it too. We're hoping for a 154 or so this time around as this setups best was a 150.9@40hz on the TL with the sdc's and roughly 4k. Bumping the tuning up to 40hz instead of 36hz as well.
