anyway, if you want anything louder, you'll need either a new box or a new amp.

if you really want to keep the 500w amp, have a 4th order bandpass box built to spec for a suitable sub.

Or grab my dc lvl4 and run it on 1000w-1500w.

Hm, is 500 RMS enough to push any of those subs decently?
I hear a lot of good things about AQ SDC2.5's here, and the pheonix gold rsdc is somewhat catching my attention

When i had the RSDC for a temporary sub, i threw about 800 watts of power on it, and it took it like a pro.

The MB Quart RWE's are pretty nice too, and the dual 2 models are cheap. Woofersetc has the 15" for $100...

not much really, if anything, i wouldn't want a huge loss though, just looking for something new ya know

Check out the Mb Quart dsc amps. They're pretty affordable. The 1000 watt model is class a/b, though...

Type r 15 on aq2200d was pretty close to dc lvl4 15 on same amp and box so I wouldn't say it would **** on the r.

If you have a trunk, don't expect just one RSDC to get loud, your gonna need two of them at least. But because they are so cheap to buy, get 4 of them if you do. lol

I didn't post it before because the cap was $200. If you can go $31 more the Shiva is one of the best sq subs out there. It will put out decent spl as well. 500 rms will push it reasonably well. http://www.diycable.com/main/product_info.php?cPath=24&products_id=693
