Replace 2 15"CVRs with 1 15" CVX

The CVX will be my next sub. Will be going into a 1.5 sealed application because of trunk space needed. Can't wait as I have heard nothing but good things about them. Good luck and enjoy!

why so?? In the big 12 woofer challenge, some judges actually liked the SQ of the CVX 12".....

Polecat, or anyone else with experience with the subs. What size sealed box should I go for with a Kicker ZX750.1? I saw in the manual that with the max size sealed box the RMS rating for the CVX is 300w, and the minimum size 750w. Is there a "Butter Zone" size for this sub? The size I'm looking at now is about 1.3 cubic feet.

One last question, I'm going to be running it everyday and all day long. Is this a good set up for a daily driver? I want my kicker to last me a couple years like my 15"s did.

Forever? The CVXs just came out a year ago. I know the CVRs last, I've had mine for three years. And before that I had Comps for two years.

cvxs have been out for over a year..........

more like 2 years....

i owned mine for like 3 months and they were 2 owners before me and they each owned them for 6 months.......

and the current owner of them has them and they still work 100% Perfect

and by forever i mean a long time......

Well I got my 12" CVX and my Kicker 750.1 amp about a month ago. I am very impressed with this little sub. It nearly matches the output of my 15"s on the lows, and surpasses my 15"s on the highs. I am in love with this sub, I'll never buy another CVR again.
