Repairing midrange speakers?

Try clear finger nail polish on both sides of the "splits". That's what I was told, and use, years ago. Light enough not to mess with the speaker, but strong enough to stay bonded. Got pics?

 
Amazing Goop glue works well for speaker repairs. If it's a split cone a little fiberglass resin may do as well. Adding mass will possibly change parameters though. Mids can be reconed IF you can find the parts.... a big if....and as has been said the cost/time/shipping is probably not worth it.
