Remote Wire!!!!! Help Please

Hey guy's well' date=' I have a stock HU In a car I'm doing an install in, & The whole connect remote to power wire think isn't something they want they don't want it constantly on, However I did recommend a toggle switch to them, But they don't want the hassle,
What do you guy's recommend could I hook the remote straight up to the alternator?

How could I make it to were it only turns on when the car is on or with accessory on?

you can also run the wire from the acc charge, located on all stock HU's

To be honest with you if you cant figure out how to find / make a remote wire switch turn on you shouldn't be around car audio.

There is fuse's on the fuse panel that turn on with the ignition, you can buy a fuse that has a extra wire that comes out the back.

If even that is too hard for you, take apart the wiring on the ignition select the acc wire, tap into it and waaa--llaaa.

Give me the year make and model of the vehicle and I will tell you where and which wire to connect the remote wire to.

And hooking it up to the alternator (if it actually would have worked) is way harder than just tapping off the fuse box or a wire....which I will give you.

cigarette lighters usually turn on and off with the cars... not always... but do sometimes. the stock head unit turns on only when the car is on right? you'd rather blast through the firewall then to buy a wire tap, crimp it onto your remote wire, and then squeeze it onto the remote wire for the stock head unit?

glove box light? is that on when the car is off?

you're running an amp off the stock headunit right? so your going to have to get a loc... does the car have a stock amp in it? are you going to pull out your stock head unit anyways?

alternator wouldn't be something i would concider...
