remote start...

hey guys i'm installing my remote start system in my '98 accord and i got a few questions... it's a crimestopper CS2013-FM with alarm, keyless entry, and remote start...

there's a small black wire comin from the control module... anyone know what the hell it's for??

also there are 2 wires comin from the siren, a red one and a black one... i know where the red one goes... but where the hell does the black one go... just ground it??

and where am i supposed to hook the parking lights up from?? it says from the light switch, is that right at the little turny knob thingy?? can i just splice into the wire from anywhere???

also... the 6-pin remote start connector... what is the purple (starter output) supposed to be connected to??

what is a door trigger and a hood pin??

and most importantly... can i just splice into my 4 guage power wire for my car audio system to power the alarm??

Hey.. not too familiar with these alarms... and I don't know if you've figured it out yet or not but here's my shot at this...

The small black wire MAY BE an antenna wire... does the alarm come with an external antenna? If not this may be the antenna...

The 2 wires coming from the siren... Red wire goes to the Siren output on the alarm... Black.. ground it..

Parking lights... Get a wiring diagram for your car... and see what wire it says... wherever it is will test positive when you turn your lights on... splice into that wire...

Door trigger is the doorpin basically... you need to find out if your car has negative or positive door pins... hoodpin is if you want a hoodpin... you can mount a pin under the hood so if anyone pops your hood the alarm will go off... the starter output is either 12 volts or hook it to the wire in the ignition harness for the starter... That's all I can think of off the top of my head... and for 12 volts... just use the wire in the ignition harness... or any wire that tests 12 volts positive all the time...

thanks... i spliced into my audio system 4-guage wire for the power... and i got everything else hooked up... the only problem is now it doesn't lock or unlock from the remote... the unit locks and unlocks after the remote start as a security feature, just it won't do it from the remote... and i know the remote works cuz it starts the car and the panic function works too...
