remote gain?

WHAAASAAAPPP!!!

I just wanted to know why you would use a remote gain? If your settings right and your amp is operating at the perfect settings, why would you want to change it?

The remote gain is for ppl who want to dial out or dial in more or less bass in their music, and with a remote gain knob it lets you do just that, turn down the bass when you dont want it or turn it up when you want more bass, or whatever you are running off the amp.

Oh, isn't that the same as turning down the bass on the deck? I guess the remote gain is just easier.

well .... it is wayyyy easier. but usually the deck powers your highs as well as sends a signal to your amp/subs. with the remote knob it adjusts bass to your subs so the highs dont distort trying to push bass
