In my experience, both sides are just as tenacious and it never leads to anything productive.

Somebody gives and argument about religion, some other person debates the big bang, somebody asks for proof, repeat.

I'm a Christian.

I don't see it as a way to control my life, rather as a way to be successful in life. If you think about it, all the rules and commandments are for our own good. Find me one commandment in the New Testament that will make your life worse. Every last commandment in that book will enrich your life in the long run.

I'm a Christian. I believe the bible. I believe in miracles. I have missionary uncles who have seen the had of God work on people. People who couldn't walk stand and walk. People who have been blind all their life, see.

My wife was bedridden in a hospital when she was 4-5 with a disease that was slowly eating her legs. She was prayed for and healed. She has not had any problems with her legs since then.

When you see this, it's very easy to believe in God. People say religion controls you. I can't agree. The things the bible tells us not to do are beneficial to our lives. Don't have *** outside of marriage, Don't kill, don't covet, don't get drunk, etc. I can't say I missed anything in my life without those things.
