I'm a Christian although I do not attend church and do not follow the bible word for word. I believe that it has been mucked up by man throughout the ages to more reflect helping make those who lead the churches powerful and rich.
I believe that we are instilled with what is right and wrong and following those things will lead you to salvation.
Too many situations in my life have pointed to a higher power to not believe. I think people look for too much of a sign to really appreciate the things that are given to us.
I will share one that will seem like nothing at all to anyone but my wife and I, but I honestly felt help that day. We were doing our annual bike ride from Columbus to Cleveland (bicycle not motorcycle) and it was POURING. We were going up a big hill and I thought to myself "I'm going to have to call to get picked up, this is too dangerous and just wearing us down too much" we were about 100 miles into the trip and still had about 175 more to go and I honestly said to myself "now would be a good time for some help" and out in BFE with one house every 2 or 3 miles this little girl comes running out of nowhere and is yelling "hey mister hey mister" we stop and she says "my pa (yeah, were in cow town LOL) said you can come stay in the barn till it gets better out."
Anyways, the rain cleared up, we thanked them and left. We made it up the worst part of the trip called Malabar. Anyways, the following year I proposed at the top of that hill.
Karma? Fate, a high power? sure, it was something //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
