yea if you look back, it used to be predetermination with martin luther. then people said " if its already determined tht m goin to hell/heaven i can do whatever the **** i want on earth"

the officials were like oh shit and had to change.

then cam the friars and the "pay for your sins" campaign.

now you have to pray and go to church and be forgiven, not to mention they try and scare the hell out of you...literally
