Redoing My Setup - Need Advice

Trying to redo my setup since I want to push my 12's harder and add another 10. I'm driving a 99 Ford Expedition (5.4L V8) for anyone who wants to know.

Right now I have two 12" Rockford Fosgate P3D412's (100-500 watts RMS) with an Alpine MRP-M450 mono amp (220W RMS x 1 at 4 OHMS) pushing them in a sealed box.

What I'm going to add is MTX Thunder4500 Woofer (50-250W RMS) in a ThunderForm Enclosure.

I was wondering if I should wire my Alpine to the MTX and get a new amp to push my P3's harder. Also wondering if I should put the subs into a ported box. I listen to mostly Rap with a little bit of rock and metal.

Looking for maybe a rockford, Alpine, or Kenwood amp to push the P3's since I have a 15% discount with audio express and I'd like to buy it from them.

You probably don't want to run a 12" and a 10"...

Just like the other guy said, you dont want to run a different sub. There are many reasons not to do it. Just use the little search button if you really want to know why as they has been asked a kzillon times!

If anything, just get another of the sub you are using right now and maybe a bigger amp and go ported since you like to listen to rap and you probably notice a difference.
