Mike actually had 2 12" RE / MT's with 2 Autotek MM4000.1D amplifiers.

This was in a closed trunk (back seat in) and one decent battery under the hood.

Engine off.

That was crazy loud!

why not try a smaller box? maybe 1.5-1.7 per 12. the meter likes smaller boxes in my trunk.

I consistantly do 141-142s with my single cab with the RL-ps...They should be in this weekend when I come to DFW. Are you going to come to the TBP show this weekend?

i thought hittin a 141.9 in SB 2 was bad...but then after seein other number for trunk cars i realize its actually good

and stock HU

i could do better, a lot better, even on my stock HU, let me turn the ipod up and see if that 141.9 stays the high ##

seriously. this is going off from a type r 12. i had them in 3 boxes, and if i remember correctly the port area and tuning was around 40-43hz. 2cubes was loudest compared to 3 cubes and 2.8 cubes. maybe it's your sunroof

What do you guys think for #'s when i do my 2 12" btls's with 2 t40001bd's. 4 hc2400's and a 300amp alt. The subs and port firing into cab, sealed off around the rest of the box. in a 06 stang..(not ideal spl car but hey..)

to do the scores we are talking about the car wont be on so the alt wont be too much of a factor. i would say though (dont take this to heart one way or the other) 145+ would be a good score to start with...trunks cars are tricky. if you do a 150+ you are in a unique crowd but also know you have 3 more batteries than the people (mike and jason) we were talking about

Sorry, the gas tank is under the back seat which does fold down
