Recone Help.

Hey I just bought a blown Lightning Audio Storm X1 (non removable top). The problem I'm havings is I can't find a place that will recone it for me. TC asked which top it was and when I told them the 1st gen they just stopped asnwering my emails, no email back that they couldn't or anything. I emailed FI from the link off thier site and havn't recieved a answer. PMed TeamPSI to see if RE could do it havnt heard anything back. Although it has only been a day or two since I emailed FI and PMed Teampsi. I even tried Robot Underground but they can't do it because of the spider it uses, Although they were very helpfull and fast at responding. If anyone could help me just pm me or respond here. It's a TC3000 motor without the removable tops holes on the side. Looking for a 12 spoke instead of using the original LA top if it'll make it any easier. Does anybody have direct emails for the guys at RE, TC or FI besides the Sales ones on thier sites?

I had TeamPSI build one into a 10. The top plate needs machined which is an extra charge on top of the recone. I personally think it was a good deal regardless.

Fi's forum has a thread on it about the storm x1. Some guys out in hawaii are getting recones for them. So I am positive them can do it too

i would call tc if you are interested in haveing it done by them..

TC can do them.

You just need to order the tc-3000 top assembly and specify you need it without screens so you can bolt it down. You just have to be careful not to hit the coil when tightening it.

I personally didn't care for the aluminum cone when I was building mine so I opted for TeamPSI.

I emailed Shawn to see if a BL recone or a Q recone would fit with the flatwound coil and the extreme leads. I know I need the recone, 12 spoke basket with terminals, and a machined ring to make the basket fit the bolt pattern.
