Recommends: Low power 12" subwoofers

Yeah, yeah I'm sure Jacob's an amazing guy...anyway, I modeled out most of the subs mentioned in this thread in Bass box Pro, all at the same sealed box size just to get an idea of which ones would perform for my amp. The box size didn't seem to make any particular sub stand out from the others, obviously comparing all of them in .6 to 1.5 ft3 sizes yielded comparable results between them, the larger boxes just went a bit deeper and louder as I went up in size.

So all of them are nearly identical in output throughout the 30hz-80hz range except the Focal sub I asked about which had this weird downward slope around 40-50hz range but only 1-2 db.

The Kicker comp was 1 db higher throughout the range than all the others. So not sure how much I can rely on those results cause I don't think it's gonna tell me which one has better transients but I suppose it probably doesn't really matter what sub I use so long as the EBP is within the sealed box spectrum and it's rated for less than 300 watts.

Any thoughts on this?

So far I'm leaning on the JBL since the impedance switch could be useful for future applications should I ever decide to change things. With that thought it would probably be a better idea to do four 10 inch subs which would give me a lot more diversity in box design and for future applications. Might be more space saving to have four .50 ft3 enclosures than a dual 1 ft3 chamber enclosure that I would have with two 12's as far as arrangement goes.

Gonna look at some other brands that I haven't heard in a while like Cerwin Vega, Earthquake..etc and see what kind of subs they have but so far it seems like my choice likely won't make any real difference.
