recommended 12 inch L7 tunage for daily driver

Well, it's time to get rid of the POS ~1 cube sealed box, and step up to a ported for my L7. I figured I'd use one of kicker's box plans in their online manual, but don't know which to use. It'll be daily driven, never in a comp. They have one for 40hz, 37hz, 38hz.

I listen to all kinds of music, but all I care about bass with is rap, all other stuff it's no big deal. Looking for mostly loudness, clarity isn't much of a factor if you saw my truck.

So, what tunage should I use? I tried playing with the box calc, and the other designer program, but i'm a newb and don't know WTF i'm doing.

Or, should I use one of the boxes in the stickies, tuned at like 34 or 35hz, or I read 32 a lot when searching. I think they're for a round 12, I don't know how much my square L7 would throw the designs off.

with atleast 2.5 cubes and 45 sq inches of port for that 12

on that sub i noticed tunung at 36 2.8 cubes was the best in a mazda tribute....(suv)

i like that suggestion, only because you ran it in an SUV, and so will I. thanks Now to go pick up the materials
