Recommendation Needed: New Components

I had CDT HD-62's but my midbass and crossover blew up... Soundzgood in chicago on addison and western did a shi7 a$$ job on the install... So i'm in the market for some comps that comparable to those. If anyone can recommend some please let me know... my price range is about $350 and they have to get loud and decent midbass... Im running a sony 2 channel XM-2002GTR amp for comps...

For I believe $330 or so shipped, you can pick up a brand new set of Rainbow Powerline CMX 265's. The crossover for this set is built to handle higher power well, and the tweeter is very nice, crisp, and detailed.

I'm running a pair of these with bridged power of 200w X2, and they take it fine. I'm very pleased with them. Here they are on Rainbow's website:

The Soundz Good did a shi7 install and I guess they couldny take the pain anymore... Plus when I turned the volume up they cut off... I couldn't check because I really didn't feel like taking my doors apart and my sub boxes take up the whole trunk to remove... I hope those rainbows can take that type of power from that Sony amp....

You shouldn't hook 2 sets of speakers to a 2 channel amp. I think one of the problems with doing so is it can really mess up the crossover points with the tweeters and mids.
