i'm looking for some cheap midbass coaxals of some sort to match to this amp

i dont know much about speakers or where to start but they're gonna be pushed by that amp. don't want to spend more than ~$100 on a pair. they have to be 6X9 so thy fit in the rear deck. what do you suggest?

Pioneer REV series are good coaxials, from what I hear. They have 6.5" and 6x9 versions.

you think that amp would be ok? it doesn't have a high pass filter. and the LPF only has a switch for either on or off

It's a perfect match power-wise. If you need a high-pass filter, here are some in-line high-pass filters you can use:

well sort of. they're 85 rms and the amp is 125x2 but i bought the 6x9s

I have no experience with that amp, I was just going by the specs.

And if it is capable of a true, clean 125w x 2, that would be perfect. Those Pioneer REVs can take more than the 80w or so that they're rated for, as long as it's a good clean, not clipped, not distorted signal.

i just installed them and they sound great. very clean and clear crisp voices. i only have the 6x9 in the rear deck and i'm soon gonna add some 6.5s to the front doors with a better amp.
