Recommendation for simple head unit with integrated iPod holder

Some scally managed to get into my car last week and half-inch the head unit, so I’m looking at options for a replacement.

The original was a Sony DSX-S100, which had the advantage that it took an iPod inside the head unit, so there weren’t any training wires or charger cables cluttering up the car. In an ideal world, I’d like to find something that offers similar functionality, so I have a couple of questions…

1. Is there a fairly simple head unit in the current ranges that offers this facility?

2. If not, is eBay the best option for buying a second-hand DSX-S100?

I do appreciate that this is a fairly basic head unit, and purists might regard the set-up as below par (for which, my apologies!). But it suits my needs and budget.

Thanks in advance.

SQ yes but with a low Fs. 7.5" VC and a 3500 watt RMS rated capability, it’s a beast of a performer. Not well known in the car audio circuit, but...
