I had my eyes on one, I would get an zx2500.1 but I dont want that much power and a amp for my mids, too much strain on my electric. Even though I could do, but I dunno. Well when you hook everything up PM man, I'll come thru. I wanna know how they take 2k.

LOL. Love all the bad information out there. Since they don't make the 2k6d anymore I have a 2k5d and it's one of the better amps I've used daily. Yes, these are popular for competition in North America due to size and power and cost so there is some truth in that. But above all else these are music amps that in Brazil Stetsom is the number one amplifier manufacture in the country. There's little to no market in building an amp that can only be for spl so people saying that they are for only burps doesn't make any sense. Any amps that can bake for 9 hours in the sun at over 100 degrees at nominal load full tilt and live is a a good amp that can take a daily beating.
If anyone lives local can try one out.

4k2d used daily and it works great. No problems at all. Get a stetsom and love it. Later

I recommended the 2k6d because I knew that there was one for sell on the DIY Mobile Forum. I apologize if I caused any confusion and also all of the questions on reliability, they perform well if you have the electrical to support them. Also if you are in a situation where size is an issue then the amplifiers are a great proven alternative.
