been lurking for a new set..

from CDT, to Image dynamics, JBL, arc, DLS. budget is under 250

don't need X-overs.

opinions on any past experiences, how sets sound compared to one another etc would be great.

looking for a smooth natural sound that expresses notes accurately.

music varies from dubstep, to rap, to rock. just want it clear.

i had diamond audio hex s600s 99'. and they were amazing. but lost them in the accident. thanks.

Are you planning on running passive or active?

I'm considering active in the future and have been jumping between HAT Clarus and Dayton separates (the RS series aluminum tweet and RS180 7" woofer).

Have also seen that the JBL MS series comps are pretty frickin' amazing

active. ill be running an eclipse cd5444. to an OS legacy lrx6 X-over to divide the highs and lows, 1 ch for highs, 1 for lows. then i will be running it off a US acoutsics USX600f. i believe thatll work.

the JBL gto 609 looks good. but ill check out the jbl ms, i thought the HAT clarus would be way more expensive?

Sound deadening and door preparations are key to getting the best results towards more SQ oriented within the vehicle, as well as speaker locations
