reccomend me a car under 5k

98-02 CAMARO SS or Z28, interior is not the greatest but fuel mileage is good 25+ highway 17+ street. A single 12" in a proper enclosure pounds in these cars. The icing on the cake will be being 4x faster then the cars you've mentioned.

I think I'm leaning towards the SC300...
an AE86 Corolla would be fun though, and of course the Civic would be easy and cheap.
definately. not many AE86s near me. but id dig for one.

the sc300 is a mix or sporty luxury. problem would be gas for me. i do roughly 80 or so miles a day in most cases. but they can get the fastest.

the civic would be one with a b16 and id boost it, or a b18c1 and build a fast all motor car.

TL-s's will do 155 stock. Fun cars, I totaled a 03 I was gonna get for 2 grand:(
reading up on them they do have ****** issues commonly, and any tl-s near 5k has a ton of miles making me wearry.

my buddy had one. and another has one with an ls1 swap. theyre fast. but i think theyre not that great looking nor designed properly trunk wise.

I would say a Lincoln LS V8, but if crap breaks on it, it can get expensive to fix. By the way American cars have come along way, and I would never get rid of my 2004 Cobra. Bought a 2012 Edge in March and picked up a 2013 SHO last night. I prefer American cars, all the imports look outdated inside and just like crap. I mean come on Honda/Acura still had tape decks in them until 08.

This one had 230k. It was the 5 speed auto, the transmission went out at 130k and other than that the only thing done to it was regular maintenance.

Did you get anything yet?

I just picked up a low miles '00 TL for well under 5k with a freshly rebuilt ******. Fun little car, ride is smooth, not a speed demon but plenty of power for a DD, easy to speed in haha. And insurance is surprisingly cheap.
