I've been looking up on rainbow components. I think my hexes are on their way out they are acting very strange. Let's say my price range is 250-300.00..what can i get for that much..I want somthing with a warranty too.

My amp is a kicker zx650.4..170x4@4ohms, deck is a pioneer 7800

you don't need comps if you are going active. for your budget you can get some very nice diy drivers for running active

You guys are wrong. The 7800 is not active at all. Crossover selections are for the front and the back but not all 4 channels. They arent 3way crosses either.

If your hexes are post Eton then they don't compare. The Rainbows are a much better set. The CMX's I have now are much nicer. Warmer, cleaner and much better midbass. The CMX's are also in his price range.
