I think as long as you have so many Square inches of mirrror your good to go. I dont know what the amount is though

I went without a passenger mirror for 2 years. I just never felt like getting one. The owner before me hit it off in their garage backing out. Old lady...lol. I never got a complaint. The only reason they're really useful for cops/rentacops or anything would be on campus for parking permits.

No way you need rear view mirrors in Florida. I didnt have one in my Expedition for months... I know a ton of guys with walls who dont have them.

Also, what about the work trucks/vans that are sold without them? I dont think they would be able to sell a vehicle that would be illegal to drive on the streets.

call your dmv, get the code number that only states side mirrors are needed. that way when he comes to you again, you can say under CODE yadda yadda, I don't need them. and if he starts being a dick about you knowing the law or some bullshit, have a camera ready or be prepared to say you did your own research or some bullshit
