Rear view camera zooms

I have Kenwood Dmx7706s, when I switch in reverse - camera zooms into asphalt, if I just press camera button on unit - camera shows fine, but as soon as i switch into reverse it zooms again..

im trying to understand if it's unit or camera issue. Naturally camera doesn't have zoom, so I'm inclined that unit is getting tired.

This is so random that I do not think anybody has ever heard of such an issue. To me it sounds as if you are dealing with two cameras. I know my radio has an on screen camera on button for the backup camera. Somewhere I read that I can use this feature to operate a forward facing camera that can record as you drive, AND still have the rear camera.
