rear speakers

my wife has a '96 corsica that i would like to switch out the factory 6x9s and put some more powerful ones in. the only thing is that they are top mount and i dont know how to get to them. if anyone can help me on this i would really appreciate it. thank you.

Take a look at this website. This is where I had to look to figure out how to take the rear 6x9's out of my rear deck which were also top mount.

i had a corsica....you gotta fold the carpet back
