Rear speakers out?

I'm wondering if I took out my rear speakers, will my sub sound noticeably louder? I have a small sub to start with so I just want to get everything I can out of it. The rear speakers are pretty much useless in my small car; I faded it out and couldn't tell the difference at all. Thanks.

Are the rears mounted in side panels or a rear deck? If it's a rear deck, then your sub stage output might seem a bit more prominent by letting it vent through the rear speaker openings. At any rate, yeah, yank them outta there.

Yeah, they're in the rear deck. I guess out goes the Memphis then; just not now, no front speakers to listen to.
