Rear deck TRUE port this time??

Sorry to revive an old thread but I was going to "port" the rear deck (not tuned or as a part of the box, but just cut a hole to relieve the pressure in the trunk) and I was worried about losing structural integrity by doing this.

It's just disappointing that my subs make everything rattle but I get very little actual bass in the cabin. Should I brace the hole after I cut it? Thanks

this is for the car that was sold with two memphis's in it

now in competiton does this still count as in trunk
