Rear deck TRUE port this time??

I have an '08 4 door accord and my installer suggested we port my rear deck. And I do not mean vent it by just cutting a hole in it to allow air to come through(like my previous post). I mean make the rear deck the port of the box. He would seal the trunk with the back of the box and the subs would fire up right into the rear deck and its port. Has anyone done this?? What kind of increase in bass can you expect generally?? Its kind of a lot of custom work so is it worth it?

thanks
