Really strange issue

Ok so I was having a problem of my amp going into protect which i just noticed today,With the rcas unplugged it doesnt do it,but it doesnt do it until i go to touch the LPF.This is with subs unhooked and just using a DMM to monitor the volts on the channel.I can turn the amp on and off all day long and turn it up and it wont do it but as soon as i touched the LPF it went in and out of protect and wont stop until i unhook the rcas or turn amp ALL the way down.This is a really weird issue,any troubleshoot ideas would be greatly appreciated,thanks in advance guys.

Setup consists of a PA 2400DB and 2 15" L7s

Well just to update,I finally got it to not go into protect and of course after about a minute or two it fried,i unhooked the remote and it still had constant power from battery and when i unhooked the power wire from the amp the subs jumped like when you unhook the power from the amp with the amp on.

It went for a few years and alot of people were surprised it lasted that long.

Yeah,it didnt do bad for what it was,and i turned the bass boost off on it today and it still died on me. I was turning the boost off to help save the amp because i had a feeling it was getting ready to die because it would cut back and sound real weak sometimes.
