I'm not covering for Trump. I'm just not willing to accept that Big Orange was TELLING the Fed to cut rates without any actual evidence anymore than I'm will to accept the election was stolen because Trump whined about that too.

Clearly that is the case. Seriously, claiming Trump's whining about Fed policy is proof that Big Orange TOLD the Fed to drop rates. The Fed did away with it's history of using economic data (or forecasting) to set policy when Trump took office. Really this is just variation of "Deep State" conspiracies', except in this case the Fed is acting on Trump's behalf. Even more ironic, is that anybody would blame this 4 month blip on inflation, when the Fed was on the verge of dropping rates to 0% and doing massive Quantitative Easing. Kinda like blaming a death on splinter and ignoring that dead guy was in body shattering motorcycle accident.
