REALLY Need Advice - Volume keeps going up/down on it's own, even while at idle.

Long shot but... Maybe since they tied the loc after the amp, maybe they overload the Bose amp's impedance stability and it's going thermal intermittently? Also, maybe you have a French fry stuck in your steering wheel volume control
