re8 for home audio

Haha, perhaps the wrong forum to post this in, eh? Ah well, we all love sound.

But yea, I got to thinking...re8's are badass, and cheap - why not build a box for it and use it for a new in-home soundsystem?

Any ideas on how one could do this?

There is no reason why RE8's couldn't be used successfully in a home audio system, they would just need to be implemented correctly, as would any driver.

You need a plate amp.

Get a plate amp, and build a low tuned box. Someone else can fill you in on the specifics.

sweetass dude...so with a plate amplifier, i could then plug straight in from my theater receiver, right?
