RE XXX Door installation question

I have recently installed the RE XXX 6.5 component set into my doors. I have about 1/8 inch gap between the speaker and the window...is that ok or should i add a THIRD ring of MDF...ridiculous i know but i dont care haha! FG will come in the future..

Should be fine. Mine are like super close, almost touching the window track

i owuld just in case put a tiny bit of foam waether stripping on the back of the motor so that if ur bass makes the window shake violently itll hit foam and not metal....
