RE SX + bandpass?

How do you think 1 12" re sx will do off 1000 w rms daily in a bandpass box? Or should i just go ported? Pretty much just want to be loud with a little SQ. Thanks for ur input in advance..

the main reason i've used 4th orders in car trunks is "directed output"

by porting the vented chamber directly into the cabin of vehicle you get a greater output to the listener no seats / bulkheads / trunk lids for sound to pass through on it's way to make you deaf ( plus addaed bonus, i've found less trunk rattle ) but that might just be cuz of how good i build everything lol

80 has the right idea. I'm finding the link right now but hold on. There's someone here on Ca.com just two 10" SX's in a 4th order bandpass and it ports through the rear deck of his Lexus GS.

I don't think I've ever heard cleaner bass. It brutally flexes the hell out of his car with those two 10's and ontop of that... he doesn't even have any trunk rattles and it sounds tight and clean while still getting loud.

Find me another setup that sounds that clean, that loud, and doesn't have the trunk dancing around about to fall off. I'd say that's about the optimal setup right there.

lol, wtf. I just checked the tags. The couple of posts above were recent. I guess that moron "The Answer" had to go an revive a month old post by nuthugging audiopulse and their antics.
