and i have a question.. for the measurements, should they be exact or can i round up or down?

mesaure as close as possible. always get as exact as you can. convert to millimeters and it will be eaiser to measure - and most people find that the sub\port facing the rear of the vehicle (using the trunk to reflect bass toward the cabin) makes the best sounding bass. other than that, just put it in the center i guess.. it dosnt really matter. just make sure that the END of your port is at least 1 inch from the wall... im guessing that the 16.8" depth is the side where your 14in port is going. so you are good.

i dont know if you will have port noise though. your port sounds kind of slim compared to its width... usually the rule of thumb that ive hears is a 1 to 8 ratio- for example, 1 inch tall, 8 inches wide. any smaller and you run the risk of port noise (the air rushing in\out making a funny noise on the edge of the wood, similar to a whistle)

my box was a little differnt. im doing 1.2 cubes as RE said, and my port was 9x1.5x13 i believe. so yours sounds quite close and looks good.

make sure you take some pictures and post your oppinions about the woofer. it sounds mighty good in my car.

how do i route the port if its so long?
