RE SE vs Kicker comp vr

they would both be in a 4 cubic foot box tuned in the low thirties powered off a directed 1500d. Can someone compare them in sql and sq for me. I got the comp vr now.

if u wanna get louder and harder bass just get one more vr 15...im assuming these are the new version vr's (2005 and newer iirc ) ....for the price, they are awsome.....

yeah just get another 15VR. I have a 12CVX powered off the same amp at 1ohm, and it slams. Box is undersized, 1.5cf @30hz

Comp VR = louder, SE = better sq and overall sql, Old XXX = The win, 2 comp VR 15's might be louder but the SQL would kill the comp vrs. If you want subs now, and you want really loud, get another comp vr. If you want subs now, and you want loud with quality, go for the SE's. If you want to wait and save up and get a superior sub, get the XXX.

I really like the SE and it got pretty much just as loud as my Brahma 12 that had twice the power. I would go the SE route....or look into the RL-P from soundsplinter

Exactly, this sub is one of the best bang for your bucks subs out there. I had a 12 in a 2 ft box tuned to 28 hz and it was amazing how loud it got with a JL 500/1. It sounded great but for under $200 delivered it was one of my better purchases. The comp vr is not far off by any means but I would take the SE IMO.
