Like the title says, looking to build a box for 2- re se10's and it will be in the back of an extended cab ranger. I have 1000 rms for both. I listen to a mix of rock, rap, and some other music. I need to know what size box, tuning, and port size. Any help would be much appreciated

Well i could do that but right now i was just trying to see what other people are using and what works
Yes, but your question said you wanted exact info...not what works for your setup. Just saying..two different questions all together.

Now, if you bought a design from a forum member it would be designed for your subs and application which is what you asked for in the first post.

**edit** not trying to be an ass in any way. I was just going by your original question is all.

Sorry I was not very clear. I was just wondering what size enclosure guys are using for these, not really looking for actual plans. I pretty much know the dimensions I have to work with and can build it no problem. I would just hate to build an re spec box and it doesn't sound good. Also people say the re calculator is off, is that true ?

never had anyone tell me they "liked" the spec RE box designs ever, just the opposite in fact.. ( sorry Greg )

without us knowing what dimensions/CF airspace ect.. you have to work with we can't tell you what will work either... FYI

so far all we know is 1kw rms to a pair of 10" se model sub and it is going in an ext. cab ranger truck...

yes. and i know a little something about rangers

i have had sub down port down, subs up port up, sub forward port forward, sub forward port up AND the winner is sub forward port up.

Now if you can get 3ft^3 @ 32hz your golden. 1.5ft^3 per sub . RE drivers like to breathe so a larger port would be needed around 15in^2 per cubic foot. So around 45in^2 TOTAL....

as far as placing your box in the back do you want to take the back seats out? OR build it to sit on top of the small back hump?

Ok, I can go up to 40" wide x 13" x 13. I could squeeze 14" x 14" if needed. I'm pretty sure I have enough room to work with. This is exactly why I was asking opinions on size. I don't want to build a spec size box and be unhappy and have to rebuild

I have the seats on the side. Also I already built a false floor so there is no hump.
