I personally get the feeling that most of the hatred against RE and their products are these people's own issues. It seems to be a little bit of a lot of things, especially a little bit of jealousy that they don't have their products so they just go around bashing great equipment. There is no other company in the world i would rather be dealing with than UsAmps and because of that i am very happy to know that UsAmps now controls their lines, RE and the Kove name. Only good things can come in the near future.

your way wrong ive owned a pair of 12" mt's last year since their was alot of hype about htem i bought a pair (pretty much what i want i get as far as audio thus the reason i bought a panda and its coming in septembe). i couldnt get them withing a db of my 9512's but im not saying its not possible to get them just as loud. me and others are saying david is a tool. and we explained our reasons. just for that fact alone i will not ever recomend or tell people their a good sub to anyone. i bet you i can get on any forum and say **** kicker **** DD and no one taht works for them is gonna respond with the same thing like david does.

Well, i talk to the people at RE quite frequently and have no idea who David might be so i can't comment on that. All i know is the people at UsAmps are among the top 1% of all car audio manufacturers. They don't play around. They make very solid equipment that if anything does more then they rate it. As does RE in my opinion.

I feel the same way,and I have never had a reason not to. Re and Us Amps have always took care of me and my customers. Never once have i called and the phone not been picked up, but then again maybe I was using the elusive dealer hotline.LOL

But seriously, has anyone had any real experiance with the MX?

LOL, "dealer hotline" now that's comedy. In the beggining stages of me looking into RE and their equipment there might have been once or twice i had some trouble getting someone on the phone with me but i can defenatly say that in the past month or 2 i haven't had one complaint about RE. Wait, i have one. Hurry up and get more subs in stock so you can send me them ****it!!!!

If you're a dick, Dave will be one right back.
I've dealt with him dozens of time. I've talked to him online, through email, and on the phone a ton of times.

He's ALWAYS been great in helping me out...he's gone way beyond any manufacturer ever would for me. He's done shit for me that other companies would never do.

On another note, how many people in here have heard the MX? I'll put money down and say that NONE of you have.
2x.

The entire plant of Resonant Engineering in Las Vegas only takes care of production and technical support. The plant at US Amps and RE in So Cal takes care of all sales and customer service. The company has changed quite a bit. There are always + and - from every company. And there will always be conflicting personels also.

All I know is that RE and US Amps have taken care of me every single time. On the other hand...I've been trying to pick up DD as dealer for over 1 year now....and yet...nobody has called me back.

Warranty between the 2 companies. RE offers recones. DD never offered recones until recently. Both companies don't cover burnt coils. Both companies only cover defects. Rebuilding the DD sub is a little more difficult.

As far as the product comparison, "sticking to the thread," the DD9500 is more SPL oriented and will get louder and the MX is more of a daily sub. I've owned both. I can tell you that the MX will sound better. The choice is a toss up.

If a customer comes up to you in the supermarket, when you're not working, and gives you shit, you gonna be courteous?

Yes...because they will still complain and I will still get in trouble.

I have dealt with the same thing with DD. They tell me to fill out an online form and they will get back to me. When I ask why I cant talk to someone because I filled out the form 4 months ago and no one called, they say it is because they are looking at so many they are behind. My options? Fill out another and keep waiting. I would love to be able to offer DD products, to give more options to customers, but that makes it very hard.

I have never had a problem with RE/US Amps. They are always very helpful, as a dealer that means alot, because I am the middle man, and I must be able to help my customers.

I've played with the 9500 and MX. The 9500 is louder, no doubt. But it should be, it's an SPL woofer by nature. The MX on the other hand is an awesome speaker for daily application. It's gets very loud with all type of music and sounds good while doing it.

Now, about RE and their Customer Service? We've been a dealer since '02. I've always been treated very well. My customers have been treated very well when they have a problem with a woofer. Even though most of the time it's their fault they had a problems with the woofers. They always come back with very quick turn around times in brand new condition again. After the re-cone of course.

Prices didn't go up that much for dealers, so I can't complain there. Plus my customers have been paying MSRP since day one. So they can't complain.
